Great stand. for computer accessories and peripherals

For the price and what it is, this is a GREAT stand. It's very durable and does exactly what it's supposed to. I've seen several other complaints about it1. Not adjustable - it's adjustable, it's just not the kind of stand you'll be adjusting every day. You set it up the way you like it and then LEAVE IT! If you find yourself constantly fiddling with the positioning of your monitors, consider buying one of their $200-$300 adjustable monitors. For myself, I just adjusted the height, tilted the monitors and fixed the whole thing and it's been running great ever since.2. Monitors sag - I've seen some people say the bolt has been ripped off? And that they couldn't tighten it enough? I'm not even sure how that's possible, the screws holding the monitors are large 3/8"-1/2" screws. My only guess is that maybe they used the cheap wrench that came with the stand to tighten the screws and it broke and/or couldn't tighten the screws enough? I personally just packed my kit in a sock and was able to tighten the screw with no problem. Not exactly - I had this problem. My right monitor was about 1/2 inch larger than my left, but they are identical. I grabbed the spirit level and started checking. The monitor stand was ok. a lot, really very little, but I think even a small lack is magnified when you get to grips with the mainstay and arms. Unfortunately the prop doesn't have an option to adjust the level on it, but that's all I needed. To do this I had to cut out two very thin pieces of cardboard (actually it's rather thick, heavy paper) and use them to lay a bit of the foundation. I thought I needed a few pieces but I only needed two thin pieces and now it's flat. 4. Too heavy for my desk - Hey, you're hanging two heavy monitors in a pretty small space. If you have a cheap thin table you can add an extra lock or something like that. The fault of this stand is that you bought a cheap table. I hope this review is helpful. I wanted to leave a detailed one because I almost bought this stand based on several negative reviews. I'm glad I decided to go ahead and get it. This is a sold, well built stand and it's a great price. Just take your time and use your head while assembling.
