I used a regular power drill for all steps instead of hand sanding. The strap that came with it was terrible. First, it wasn't even big enough for a headlight, and second, it wasn't easy to remove. Regular masking tape was better. I re-inserted each step (sanding, polishing, UV treatment). At the end of the buffing step, use all of the polish in the pack and just keep buffing until it disappears. You don't need to wipe the product at all before applying the UV protection, just a quick wipe with a clean cloth. UV protection dries much longer than 1-2 hours. I finished applying at 4:30 p.m., waited 15 minutes, and then drove my truck into the sun. I left it outside until sunset and then lugged it into the garage. At 7:30 the next morning it was still slightly sticky. Let's see how long he can keep the lenses clear. I am very satisfied with the first results.
