Review on ✈️ Optimized Lift Flight Bag by Flight Outfitters by Melissa Anderson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

This is disappointing at best - for $100 I expect something that is literally not there.

This review is for the Flight Outfitters 'Lift' bag. I've had this bag for about 4 months now. Unfortunately a few weeks ago the stitching holding one of the D-rings (for the shoulder strap) ripped disastrously and my entire bag fell to the floor! And the case wasn't superfluous or anything - it was used for its intended purpose (headset, iPad mini, checklists, flashlight, etc.). Today I decided to return the bag as it is not defective. Unfortunately it looks like neither Revain nor the seller are doing anything about it as it has been 30 days since purchase. That's disappointing at best - for $100, I expect something that doesn't literally fall apart in the first few months of use (especially when used for exactly what it was designed and marketed for). That's really a shame, because otherwise I like the broken spot for attaching the D-ring on the bag better. The three main compartments are great for my use, one for my headset, one for my checklists and notepad, and one with mesh pockets/dividers for my electronics, cables, pocket knife, etc. It also has two thin external pockets for documents and more items with quick access Access. One downside I've encountered is that the compartments don't have a hard bottom and so the bag has a tendency to pinch and tip over. If they improved the quality of the stitching, made the bottom of the compartments stiffer, and stood behind the merchandise, then I think they would have something with this bag. But until then, I have to advise you to stay away or else your bag will fall off your shoulder at the worst possible moment and damage one or more of your more expensive items inside.
