Bought to replace the plastic coat hook that was installed on the bathroom door. One day the old plastic hook failed. Outside of the packaging, this Kohler hook feels like well-made and solid metal. The hook comes with all the screws/fasteners required and also includes a paper template for attaching the screws. Installation took about 15 minutes (and I don't feel that comfortable in any way), including using a drill to drill holes for the screws. There is a part that you screw in first, then place the visible part with the hook and attach by tightening the set screw with the hex key (included). The set screw is at the 6 o'clock position of the hook. The hook effortlessly handles heavy, wet bath towels and bathrobes. Should take quite a while. By the way, unlike many modern things, it is NOT made in China.
