This cable is suitable if you only want to charge two low-power devices without disconnecting one or the other. This is fine if you want to send data from your computer to a specific device. But it doesn't transfer power between microports and it doesn't transfer data between two microports. It sounded that way from the description, but when I received mine, I found out something else. Should have bought cheap Y-cables that do just that.
