Review on 🌞 Enhance Comfort & Protection: Tesla Model Y Glass Roof Sunshade UV/Heat Insulation Cover Gray Set of 2 by Scott Ramu

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Almost perfect, but not a perfect fit and sagging in the middle.

Installed on my Model Y today. Pretty easy to install. I haven't tried the optional silver-lined sun visor yet, so for this review I'll use the sun visor without it. one). A good fit overall, but pressing it against the windshield creates a small gap in the rear corners. See Fig.2). Due to its size, it sags significantly in the middle (see fig.). It seems that this can be remedied by reinforcing the mesh with stiff wire, similar to a mesh frame sewn side to side down the middle. Currently it looks like the headliner is sagging, a bit sticky if you ask me on a car of this caliber.3). I can still feel the heat radiating through them, but not as much. Again, this is without the silver lining, which I think would make a big difference though. Weight can increase average sag even further. Bottom line: I will use it, but I think if they came out with a 2.0 version of this shield with anti-sag reinforcement and a slightly tighter fit then it would be a clear 5 star winner. . Sagging is perhaps the biggest complaint I have in this regard. Note: One end is slightly narrower than the other. The narrow end runs over the rear seats and the wider end runs over the front seats.
