This is a VERY durable leather. So if you're hoping for something that looks worn and stretched over time, this isn't for you. However, those who prefer clean lines and a professional look will be very satisfied. Shoulder strap broke after second use. A quick email to McCline and a reminder a few weeks later got me a free replacement strap. I have enough space for a change of clothes, my computer, a book or two, some snacks, power cords, necessary documents. and the usual little things we all need on an airplane. It fits under every airplane seat I've ever been in, and even with that abuse, I haven't noticed any scratches or marks from rough handling. Even with a relatively full package, I had no problems with the top zip. Closure. Not once did I feel like it could tear. The hardware on it is incredible (even with the torn shoulder strap).
