Well I'm very athletic (weightlifters) so I know certain areas like biceps and quads will be too tight for me but I loosen up around the waist, so proper stretching is important. It doesn't stretch so the waistband is flexible but feels like it will rip as I bend over and transition into a capri as well. The top isn't that bad, it's only really tight in the armpit area, so going up would just make the whole thing bulky and wouldn't fit any better. If the buyer is not very short, without curves and without big muscles, do not buy. Cheap and uncomfortable.
