Review on Zelher P20 Bluetooth Headset: Over-The-Head, Cellphone Use, 21 Hour Talk Time, 4X Noise Cancelling, 1 Year Warranty by Trey Ali

I bought this headset to replace a wireless USB headset that I have used with both Skype and speech recognition software. I found the P20 very good. While I was within range (I'll talk about that later), callers on the other end of my Skype line commented that the audio clarity and volume were excellent. In terms of volume and clarity, it's the same for me. In fact, I had to turn the volume down significantly from the settings I had on my USB headset. I was able to do this using the Skype controls instead of the P20 controls which were a bit more difficult for me to access. I can also answer and end Skype calls using the controls on the P20 headset, a feature that wasn't available. on my USB headset. In addition, the P20's standby charge time and talk time are consistent with what is reported in the sales literature. I get used to the long charge times so quickly that I forget to put the P20 on the charger until it's empty! Now some minor issues. First, the range. Seeler offers a range of 32 feet. This may be true in line of sight, but when obstacles are present, that distance decreases drastically. As I walk out the door from my office (about 8 feet away), conversations become static and almost unmanageable. I can move anywhere in my office and stay as far away as possible (about 20 feet) and maintain audio quality as long as I have line of sight. Second, the low battery indicator is visible on the side of the headset. . Great when the headset is on the table/dash in front of you, but not so useful when you're carrying it and the headset battery dies during use. An acoustic display in addition to a visual one would be helpful. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a comfortable on-ear headset that can be used for hours.
