what's inside suitable for kitchen and table linen

It's very pretty, just like the photo, except there appears to be something like cardboard or some sort of iron at the bond between the two layers of fabric. Leaves bubbles on the fabric. You can't see the bubbles on the black side, but they are clearly visible on the white side. I'm afraid that will be while cleaning.
