Works well, shines brightly. The main disadvantage is that it resets after every disconnection from the network. My Christmas garland is timed and this device is placed above the eve on the first floor, out of reach of the ground. I like the green and red strobe light that shines on the second floor of the house. Problem #1 - The remote only works at about 2 feet from the device, then it won't read the signal. Problem #2 - The setting resets every time the plug is unplugged. So the festive greens and reds don't persist after being unplugged for the day, and since the remote doesn't reach the unit it switches to the scroll function and scrolls through all the color features, which aren't all festive. I will be returning the device due to these issues and have contacted the manufacturer with no return. *Update - Shortly after I posted this review, the manufacturer contacted me to make sure I was happy. I was told that they are working on a new product that will fix the issues listed above. I will update again when I get my money back. Excellent customer service to guarantee satisfaction! *Update #2 - I received a full refund for the product. This is a good seller to buy.
