Not suitable for running or other intense activities

Who I am: someone who has a lot of headphones, who needs Bluetooth-enabled headphones and who is picky when it comes to sound clarity and character. I own many Sennheiser products and am a big fan of their attention to detail. However, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone hoping to use them for running or weightlifting at the gym, or quite frankly any physical activity other than walking. Pros: Sound quality is very good, not great, but probably the best Bluetooth headphones I've heard. . The bass is perhaps a little too prominent and the mids and highs aren't as clear and articulate as we'd like, but that's to be expected for such an affordable price point. Battery life is very good, I don't doubt the 10 hour spec on the box. Cons: You can't walk around in these headphones as the device twists around your neck and pulls one of the monitors out of your ear. The headphone cords are too short to wrap around your ear, so you'll hear all the annoying noise coming out of the cord while you're running - it's so loud you can't even hear the music. Finally, the HD1 really doesn't fare well in a multi-device environment. Even though my iPhone was out of reach, the HD1 kept reminding me that it was either connected or disconnected from my iPhone while I was streaming music from my Apple Watch. If you're just going to plug these headphones into one device and don't plan to work with them, I think they're a good deal. Otherwise fit. I return mine.
