Hello, I am very disappointed with the THERMOS brand. I am sorry to report that I only used the thermos product twice before noticing that the outside of the thermos got very hot as soon as I poured boiling water into it. However, the water in the thermos was quite cold (not even warm) the next morning (less than 10am). When I bought a thermal product in July but didn't use it until the following February, I'm well past the company's 30 day product warranty. I didn't think I needed to pre-test a product from a trusted company like THERMOS. However, the product never worked and is now a costly dump. I have trusted a well known brand like Thermos for their reliability and because I have not used the product immediately upon receipt they refuse to certify that their product was delivered after hours. unusable (defective or damaged). and Revain only honors a 30-day manufacturer's warranty. hence what I considered a special gift to myself ends up in the landfill. stall
