Works, but. suitable for computer accessories and peripherals

Photos and some reviews show that the included power adapter is required for use with large drives (such as a hard drive in a desktop computer), but it was not. I only received the USB/SATA adapter itself. It worked great for the small drives on the laptops I've used it with.
