Wanted more order in the kitchen, especially with all the different sized bottles with very hot spice mixtures. Most of the time I reach for the one closest to my fingers and the rest just languish in the closet, forgotten. Today I collected 6 spices and poured each spice blend into each of the thin, rectangular, clear plastic containers that come in a long, narrow, clear plastic box. The only thing missing from this set are the markings. I ended up cutting a piece of tape to fit the narrow ends of each container (the part that is visible) and wrote on the tape what each spice mix contained. Partially filled original bottles are stored in the cupboard for later use. The new set of 6 containers is now where I can easily see it and then select one of them. Each container has sliding lids for either pouring out a quantity or sprinkling over meat or whatever seasoning is desired. Full dimensions with bins in base box: 4 1/4" tall, 6 1/2" overall, nearly 2 3/4" deep. Each bin measures 1" x 2 1/4" x 4" high. .
