I give this drone five stars although I found a few flaws. The price is so low for the level of difficulty and the fun you get that I felt it was worth the "bonus" star. Height control and position maintenance are very good for such a small toy. The controller connects to the drone quickly and easily. The instructions are pretty clear, albeit with a lot of the common "Chinglish" errors. One of the downsides I found is related to the "calibration" step described in the manual. The instructions are conflicting and it never explains when or how often this calibration should be done. Headless mode is a bit random; Usually it works, but sometimes it just doesn't. Likewise, doing flips only seemed to work about half the time for me. And "one button back" never worked for me - the drone always interprets pressing this button as "fly at max speed in a random direction until you hit something". I recommend never using this command outdoors. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable about drones and their common functions will know of workarounds for these problems. But despite those issues, I think this is a great little drone for kids and beginners. It's small and light enough to be safe indoors (mostly), and it's a great way to practice and build confidence before moving on to more complex and expensive drones. And it's a lot of fun!
