I'm not exactly new to the speaker market. First I started with car audio. Not a boom boom bass rap guy, but a guy with clean highs and mids. I bought a thousand dollar system for my 1990 Volvo Turbo Wagon. Everything amplified, everything groundbreaking, nice and crisp. A 12" sub. Then I met my distant uncle in Tennessee and he introduced me to quality bookshelf speakers. I forget his name but even the assembly itself was of high quality. The speakers were wood and smaller than these speakers. He had experience massive amps massive tube amps turntables and everything audiophile chad gosh those speakers sounded great straight clarity bass mids and treble was very well balanced I wanted something like that I wanted high quality I wanted it to be good quality Use wood to give it character, sleek design and extremely low distortion. These speakers are his and more! Don't get me wrong, I was skeptical. The first generation S1000 Pro series is known to be a half-thru version of more expensive Regal / Desk speaker is Reviews noted that the bass was a good point, with the mids and highs raging through Bass were easily obscured and confused. Then came these speakers! MKII. There were very few reviews for the speakers but I was excited and ready to take the plunge as they had all the features I wanted. All-in-one integration: amplifier + speaker, Bluetooth 5.0, affordable price and DSP. DSP is the most important part of a balanced processed sound. So I took the plunge! Man is all I ever wanted. The speakers are massive for bookshelf speakers. I use it for my gaming desktop speakers. They're beautiful and sound great in games. The recordings are clear and the music is deep and smooth. I listen to synthwave, classic, anime, rock, country, electronic and some rap. These speakers are very good in all categories. Anime music is the hardest to balance due to the screeching highs, but I'm sure the adjustment knobs on the back won't fix anything. I also doubt that most speakers can handle the screeching of those Japanese girl's voices. :P The bass from these speakers is great, just like the S1000, but the highs and mids aren't as balanced as in the original S1000 reviews, which cite overdriven bass. You can select different instruments while playing a song, and the quality stays the same at low and high levels. I have Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilee, beyerdynamics DT 990 Pro headphones and I would rather listen to these powerful speakers than these headphones. The delivery quality was amazing. Big heavy box! double box! Well done Edifer! About: Male, 24, Asian American.
