Really amazing and effective knee pad for long distance running

I'm a long distance runner and I've been having a lot of pain on both sides of my runner's knees lately. I already have Osgood-Schlatter disease in my left knee, which I also fractured (and healed) last year, so figured I'd need good knee support if I was going to run 10+ miles. I have tried THREE (3) knee wraps/compression sleeves including the "PowerLix Knee Compression Sleeve" for this purpose and wanted to list them for comparison. (1) Breg "FreeRunner". Previously prescribed for fractures and intended for athletes/runners to aid in rehabilitation. It did an excellent job of staying in place throughout my 13 mile run. But it has NOT completely relieved my knee of the pain like it usually does with climbing stairs and cycling. I started feeling the same discomfort --> annoying pain after about 10 miles. The brace is bulky so it rubs against the other thigh from time to time which is a big NO. (2) PowerLix Compression Knee Brace (this product): This is a compression sleeve type brace. It holds my kneecap in place, protects my Osgood-Schlatter bulge (bulge of the bone), prevents gait from uneven hip muscle tension, maintains optimal core temperature, and provides FULL range of motion. I can bend my knee completely. It's nice and tight, but not uncomfortable. I wore them on my problematic left knee and ran a full marathon last weekend. It stayed in place without slipping, rolling or chafing and I didn't have to worry or think about it. Most importantly, ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN during and after the race. I was SO amazed. (3). Physix Gear Knee Sleeve: This is a durable compression knee sleeve rather than a bandage. He also did a great job protecting my right knee which was suffering from runners knees. It fits like your favorite knee high compression stockings without restricting movement and is definitely more comfortable to wear than the PowerLix Compression Knee Brace (#2). But this knee pad's non-slip grips on the top are firmer than those on the PowerLix and can feel a bit too tight. However, it never caused any complaints, and the casing stayed in place for the entire 26.2 miles without rolling or chafing. Thanks to him my right knee was absolutely PAIN FREE during and after the race. [GENERAL] Both the PowerLix Compression Knee Sleeve (this product) and the Physix Gear Knee Support Brace have done an excellent job and are highly recommended for long distance runners. They stabilize the knee joint and prevent pain/inflammation with the right support and compression, but they never restrict movement or stop blood flow - not even for hours! sitting position. They fell between 15.3 and 15.7 inches. So according to the sizing chart provided by the company, I received MEDIUM for "PowerLix Compression Knee Brace" and SMALL for "Physix Gear Knee Support Brace". They fit perfectly. *Length: According to the product specification, the PowerLix Compression Knee Brace is slightly longer than the Physix Gear Knee Brace. But due to the very durable PoweLix fabric and the very stretchy Physix fabric, the Physix knee pads were slightly larger than the PoweLix when worn. * Color: Grey/Black for PowerLix (this product) is almost completely black (see photo - top right). It doesn't look like the product photo on this website and I thought I got the wrong product! Not sure about blue, I didn't have that. Hope these two last a long time! Thank you for reading my long review :-)
