This is great for the needs I have planned. noise is minimal. RPM is a bit slower than I expected but very functional. This type of USB fan is commonly used with USB, and if you cut off the USB connector, you can use it with your own connectors. I took one, replaced the connector, plugged it into the motherboard and routed it to the graphics card for power. more air for cooling. I placed one on the back of the PC case behind the graphics card vent to extract air and one in the hard drive bay. So many uses for this fan, the ideas are endless
