As the first headphone user, I bought these headphones not knowing exactly what to expect. When I received them I was thrilled! They fit perfectly, sit snugly (but not tightly) on the ear, don't let wind or cold through. Of course, they don't heat themselves, but they definitely protect against the cold and, more importantly, they no longer suffocate. hurts from the cold wind! They're easy to stash almost anywhere - back pocket, purse/purse and probably even a wallet. They lie almost flat when not in use, then simply make a notch in the center, pop them in and around your ear, then hold your hand horizontally to push firmly into your ear and snap into place! They snuggle up great and keep your ears warm and protected from bad weather. I highly recommend! Too bad I wouldn't have bought several pairs - both for myself and as gifts!
