First off, I only drink from these "hospital" cups because I appreciate the lack of condensation on the outside of the cup. Who wants a wooden table ruined by a water ring? Not me! However, 2 hours after receiving this mug, washing it and filling it with an iced drink and taking my first sip, I could already tell that the rating would not go higher than 3 stars. The "double layer" was not properly sealed as evidenced by numerous blisters during the initial wash. I was disappointed with that observation alone. As I suspected, when you sip, some of the drink seeps between the two layers, and after a few sips, the tea gets stuck halfway between the layers. That turned my 3 star rating into a 1 star. At this point, a little over a month after first use, this mug is covered in tea stains and there is a watery layer that slides up and down with every sip, occasionally ending up in my mouth. If you've ever wondered what a month-old tea mixed with dish soap tastes like, believe me, it's no good. I was always hoping that the stuck liquid would find a way, so I didn't return the mug within the allotted time. It goes in the trash can! Save yourself, find a better alternative.
