The best. As I searched for them, new ones that make them popped up. You know, the ones that are rubberized. I wanted to try rubber, but it wasn't possible. The reason I don't use rubber bands is that rubber bands "stick" to things, including hair. How can a rubberized band improve that? So I checked the reviews and in fact people have complained that they pull and tangle their hair making it difficult to remove without pulling your hair out. With cloth, they were much harder to find. and they are simply the best. PS - they make great cat toys too!
