I wanted this chair as an alternative to my regular chair as I spend most of my time sitting. It's durable and has worked well for the weeks I've used it. It's not "comfortable" but that's what I wanted - I don't want to slouch and relax, I want to be active and move more. I really like the mobility of the hips when using this stool. It is neither uncomfortable nor difficult to use. It was more difficult to put together than I expected as the wheels kept falling off and my husband had to do extra work to get them right.
