The product is of good quality, there is only one minor defect.

I am more and more disappointed with the quality of the products of the once beloved manufacturer.
The price of the device is uncompromising. However, the product itself is full of compromises. It is impossible to use a mouse on several devices (although cheaper analogues of the same Logitech (not) G allow this.
The manufacturer does not listen to the user: it does not publish the source codes of the drivers, the API, so that you can write control software for your needs, it uses this stupid rubber in the production of the case, which adds points to the planned obsolescence of the product, in general, reduces the quality control on its products to such a level, that every second review has to "regret" the representatives of the Company.
Before that there was a G700 (not S), until now . kind of alive (does not charge the battery, several buttons had to be soldered); G502 in the first revision was blown away in 1.5 years: the braid on the wire was torn, the wire was dull, the rubber under the ring finger peeled off . I'll see how long this mouse lasts. If it doesn’t last 2 years without maintenance, I won’t take Logitech anymore, and I won’t advise anyone.
The first year of ownership is coming to an end. There are no complaints about the replaced copy.

Pros

- Appearance. - Weight distribution. - Li-Pol battery. - Quality. If it works, then it works well. Almost no microswitches are used (square section, based on the elasticity of a metal equilateral plate (these were in the G700 on everything that is not paint and PCM)), the stuffing of the switches is completely replaced). Claim only to the Middle Button (button on the scroll wheel) is a microswitch on a metal plate. Look for a donor in 3-5 years, or don't use the damn button at all. - No rubber coating (hello g502!). Coverage is the same as on g700 (not s). - Ergonomics. Yes, the same point is a disadvantage, no, I do not suffer from bipolar and schizophasia. There is something to say: Ergonomically, the mouse is correct (the hand does not get tired of working with it), However, there is a question of habit. Using the little finger and the ring finger is unusual, uncomfortable at first. However, it does not cause physiological discomfort. The first abrasions will appear after ~ 6 months.

Cons

- ON. Logitech is simply not good at software. It seems that customization flexibility has worsened with the transition to G Hub. Added: Logitech is true to itself - the higher the version, the worse the ergonomics of the application. - When it goes to sleep (non-Performance/Productivity mode) - has a delay in being recognized by the driver. During the delay period, the internal configuration of the mouse works (the result is that if a low DPI is set on the internal configuration, the mouse will “wake up” in the literal sense of the word for 1 second). - Ergonomics. Universality (for the right and left hand) made the mouse generally uncomfortable for both left-handers and right-handers: the first pair of additional buttons is pressed with the thumb, the second pair - with the ring finger and (sic!) little finger. The buttons for changing the DPI do not make sense at all: pressing them is possible only if the grip is violated. - Versatility. Logitech does not justify the hopes for the development of the ecosystem that users place. The mouse cannot be paired with the G915 receiver, the G915 cannot be paired with the G903 receiver. I am a laptop and computer user; I would love to stick one whistle into a large computer, and the second into a laptop, and switch my input devices from one machine to another by pressing one button on the keyboard. I am not allowed to do this. - Quality. I don't know if this is a defect, but the middle mouse button (on the scroll wheel) has a completely indistinct click, which _temporarily_ disappears if you click on it several times in a row. Added. Reliability - 1 point. The middle mouse button has acquired a click (on the first or second click it does not register a click, you need to click several times until a mechanical and audible click appears, which characterizes the click). I contacted support. It's sad that's all. Added: They made a replacement under warranty in the Store (foolishly did not press the Manufacturer's Support so that they would replace it).
