Replace shifter
Working. Close to the original '96 Blazer, but not exactly. The shoulder made up for it a little less. This will force the cable housing against your hand in certain positions. I've tested this several times and it doesn't seem to have any real ill effects at this point. In the future, I could foresee that the shift cable boot would deform or break under load. But I believe that even in this case, the shifter and cable should work normally. Happy with the purchase.
