What a great tent for the money. I haven't stayed overnight or bought a tent in 10 years. We decided we needed a small and light tent for an overnight camping trip that could accommodate 2 adults and 3 medium to large dogs. This tent met all of our criteria. I was really impressed with how far tent technology has come. This thing was so easy to install and probably took no more than 5 minutes. My wife helped, but that could easily be one person's work. It took a little longer to dismantle and, as expected, packing everything back into the original size needed to fit in the original packaging is a bit fiddly, but not too bad. Maybe it took 10-15 minutes to get together. The tent fits perfectly in my large backpack and weighs about 4 pounds. Two adults could easily fit in, but three would be a stretch unless everyone was asleep and didn't mind touching the person next to them. My wife and I slept side by side with one of our dogs between us and two at our feet. I probably should have bought 4 people but I was worried about adding extra weight to my backpack. But looking back, he wouldn't weigh too much. However, I'm happy with how it turned out and I'd put 5 bodies in again. The tent has 2 zip holes, one on each side, making it easy to get up in the middle of the night without crawling all over my wife. . The flysheet was easy to set up and seemed to keep us dry and would definitely help reduce the wind blowing through the tent. We weren't sure how the bow tie needed to be tied or secured to the ground, but we simply zipped it up at night and propped it up with an open branch during the day. The main supports are 2 lightweight plastic or composite poles that attach to the tent. This thing was very easy to set up. I remember how tough it was for me that day with all my other tents. Inside the tent there are 4 pockets, one in each corner, which are handy to store a headlamp, phone and glasses at night. From what I know about tents, this Winterial tent was perfect for our needs. There were so many options on Amazon and based on the reviews we decided to try this brand and model. It was a great price, lightweight and easy to assemble. In a sports shop you could easily spend 2-3 times more. I look forward to using this tent again.
