We wanted a patchwork bedspread for the guest room. We also wanted it to be SIMPLE. This matched the bill perfectly. We also wanted something more masculine as we use it in the guest room where our grandson sleeps when he (sometimes) stays with us. Once again it looked just like we wanted it to. The colors are bold, but the greys/reds/blacks feel more masculine than the usual floral tones or patchwork paisley tones. The bedspread's light weight makes it very easy to make a bed - so easy a grandson can do it without asking! The price is good too, as these bedspreads often retail for as little as $50. inexpensive and perfect for a space that needs a masculine decor. :)
