I had an older Snugg case for an iPad and it worked very well, but after a few years the faux leather or something broke off and came off a bit where the shell was complicated . I liked it so much that I bought it for my iPad Air 3. The truth is that it just doesn't fit this model. iPad Air 3 is thinner and has a smaller bezel so you can see more of the screen. I had to crop most of the footage to see more of the screen. I couldn't reach the little "X" that appears in the corner of the screen for you to stop viewing. The iPad Air 3 also slips a bit in this case, so it doesn't fit very well. I liked the feel of the case but unfortunately it just doesn't fit and obscures what should be visible on the screen.
