My amazing bass player is always TOO LOUD!. We've been doing this for 5 years. FINALLY problem solved. I switched from the Monitor Mix 6 to a used $60 headphone amp. Run a 20ft cable to a mic stand a few feet behind him (to keep the cable out of his way) and then to these headphones. Now he can crank his amp up to a comfortable level on stage and hear himself perfectly with these $39 headphones. Here's a real kicker, I told him I paid $250 for these LOLs. he loves her, as does the rest of the band. He's got everything in his head and we're a rock band. It was a $39 experiment that paid off! Excellent sound and db level. they remain clear even at high volumes. Who pays $500 for headphones? . These work fine. I don't think you'll get the same results with other cheap in-ear headphones. definitely buy!
