I have tested the sponge samples sent in for review. They work just as well as the traditional synthetic versions I've been washing dishes with for years. Coconut fibers are tough and have an excellent cleaning effect. The softer cellulose side absorbs and retains water for a gentle cleansing. You can use them like regular kitchen sponges. Wash, wipe, vacuum up spills. They work as you would expect. They are dry and hard until you soak them in water. I would recommend soaking in hot water for a minute or two first to soften them up. Some coco fibers are thicker and can be a bit painful when shoved under the nail. Just test your sponge before first use to make sure there's nothing weird about it. Most of them have smaller fibers and are softer. I like that they are compostable. 4 solid stars for environmental friendliness and excellent performance.
