My first impression was that the bag is one of my favorite types of cat food. This is really durable plastic that has a cling film inside. It also has a star zip on the top that compresses like Velcro. It lasts long, retains the smell/taste and I don't have to worry about my dog pawing at a paper bag of cat food. A mixture of chicken and salmon. Pieces are very small. They are tiny triangular in shape. My older cats definitely appreciate the small bites. (My dog does the same thing when he steals her food.) The food itself has a rather mild odor. It's not too fishy or strong. I personally appreciate it. I like that it is corn and wheat free. I also love that it has cranberry for the urinary tract. The food specifically states that it also helps maintain a healthy pH level. It contains no additives, preservatives or artificial colors. The bag states that it is suitable for all ages of the cat. The cats were fans of this taste and seemed to like this food very much. Since the feed is also more balanced in terms of nutrients, the portion to be fed is smaller. To me, that's an advantage that comes with higher quality products. I also take comfort in the fact that my cats eat healthier food.
