I ordered this ww pump because it is original equipment. For me it is important that it fits as it should without modifications. With locally available aftermarket pumps, it is necessary to cut and plug the vehicle's wiring harness to connect the pump. Installation is easy, simply unscrew the 3 screws on the receiver and remove the wire connector and umbilical hose, remove the old pump and gasket/strainer - replace with the gasket and new pump supplied. Install the cable connector, the supply hose and screw the resistor. My old original pump only lasted 4 years so I hope the replacement will last longer.
