Review on TREAT Jumbo Tinted Lip Balm - Creamy SODA with an Orange Twist, Shimmering Finish by Chelsea Miller

This review is for the new Berry Blast Lip Balm. As a berry lover, I am disappointed in the taste. It reminds me of the old school Blue Raspberry Razzle. I love blue raspberries, but if you remember that flavor, it's an artificial blackberry/blue raspberry that has no astringency. Not to mention the treat already makes a blue raspberry lip balm (I hope this one is better). I don't know if I was disappointed that the Berry Blast has absolutely no tart flavor or that the flavor notes are very pronounced and you don't get the different berries pictured on the tube. I hope Treat remembers their lip balm is $13.99 in hopes they don't throw away flavors just to throw away flavors. Raspberries, cranberries, blueberries and blackberries are pictured on the tube and on their website you can actually see strawberries in the picture included in this balm. It could have been a great berry lip balm, think a blended berry smoothie, but it tastes like a cheap kid's lip balm and is very disappointing. The color in my photo is a regular lip balm application. You can layer it for a deeper and more intense look. I really love this color it looks like a lip smudge to me which is great if you don't want the lipstick to look full and it has glitter and a really really tiny golden glitter that you can't see up close . You could have done so much more with the scent of this balm. I would not recommend it. I only buy two of these at a time because it's $30 for two lip balms so I'm very disappointed I went with this one. Another reason I want the beauty treat to come in smaller sizes so we can try all the flavors and not get hung up on a giant, expensive lip balm.
