We repaired the CR-V fan ourselves
The fan stopped working and without being able to use the air conditioning we had to pay a garage to fix it. After some searching on the internet and watching some videos we took a chance and ordered a part of the Topaz resistor. BINGO! Now the fan works without much effort. We also found that the resistor can fail if the cabin filter is not replaced, so we've now replaced that too. This was pretty easy to fix, and a set of short screwdrivers makes it even easier.
