cheap quality USB cables

But they work. My biggest concern was that they would let me connect an external microphone to the NIKON D3400 and it would record sound. And it is. But the quality is terrible. The microphone itself is excellent but there is a lot of strange noise when used with this adapter. And yes, I did it right!
