Balaclava for mountain bike helmet

I got myself a new bike helmet and wanted to protect my neck from the sun in the summer. I tucked a hat with a scarf under my helmet but it was awkward and didn't fit well. The goal is to find something light, seamless under the helmet to protect the neck and crown from the sun while being cool, allowing evaporation and breathability. I bought 4 other similar products but finally settled on this one from Benchmark. only suitable for construction work and too heavy for cycling. I looked at the halo headband, which is a nice design, cool, breathable fabric with holes, but I found that the headband is too tight and the headband becomes too hot for summer, boiled when worn indoors at room temperature becomes. Sure, polyester "wicks moisture" but gives you hyperthermia before it cools down through evaporation. Another 4 pack made from "Silk Milk" (a type of silk) which was very light, comfortable and not as hot as polyester but still too hot for summer. This Benchmark FR (fire retardant) is designed for construction work. , but has a nice cotton fabric that is very cool, offers good evaporative cooling, is light and thin and fits very well under a helmet. The tail is quite long, but not as long as the Superman cloak like some others I've seen. On the other hand, he looks stupid, like all of them. Good quality, made in the USA but a bit pricey ($15) but worth it. highlighted.
