I bought this to go with a gold Acer Chromebook (I work from home sometimes) and in terms of looks I like it. Unfortunately, after a few months of use, I just can't take it anymore. It has two major disadvantages: 1) The tracking laser is not good. When I move the mouse I expect the cursor to follow smoothly - it moves intermittently and twitches so the pointer doesn't quite stay where you expect it to and you have to move it again. repeat until it is where it should be. Super annoying. 2) The buttons are too hard or something like that. They're good for clicks and double-clicks, but if you need to hold down a key to highlight text or code, forget it. Even if you press hard, the button appears to be released and pressed again, leaving the selected text as part of what you were trying to highlight, or worse, if you moved away from that line of text at all and the mouse was over what - just for a moment. Very bad. It could be the radio causing both problems - who knows? The signal may turn off and on intermittently, causing both awkward movements and problems holding the button. Anyway, from the first day she was constantly ill. So even if it matches my gold Chromebook, I need a mouse that works without disappointment.
