It's very hard. Almost too hard.
I didn't like that the price I bought it for was NOT the $4.99 price on the red label. It is very durable and the neckline is larger for a child than for an adult. I will be using these on my dogs in place of the cones they will need to wear after surgery. I will find another pair with a little more softness.
