Not perfect, but not bad for the price

Well, it took me three tries to come up with a similar protective stand for the original iPad Air to find. . The previous two (different brands) I ordered did NOT fit although they said they did. So they returned. On the plus side, the stand is designed quite ingeniously, allowing the iPad to be held at a variety of angles. And while the stand uses adapters at the top and bottom of the frame to hold the iPad, it's certainly strong enough to prevent quick grabbing and walking. You can certainly get an iPad if you work on it, but you'll likely damage it in the process, defeating the whole purpose of stealing it. But there are two main disadvantages. First, if you lose one of the plastic adapters, that's all. The inventory has no conservation value. And secondly, you can put a lock without a key. That means if you forget your key, your iPad won't go anywhere for a while. At best, a key would be required to activate the lock. But… stronger cases and better designs are much more expensive. So I think this will work fine.

Pros
  • Additional K-Slot on the case fits any standard Kensington cable (not included)
