This iron isn't the lightest but I like that about it. It feels sturdy in use. It's heavy enough to put pressure on clothes and iron them quickly, but not so heavy that it tires your hand when using it. The various settings actually work where the cheaper ones don't seem to work, and he adjusts the temperature to maintain his settings. I iron a lot in a family of 10 and so far it's holding up very well. It's also so easy to use that my younger children (6 and 7) can easily use it with adult supervision. This iron works well and doesn't leave burn marks or weird streaks like some of the cheaper models. I definitely recommend it.
