No socks but good quality.

These are stockings only if worn by toddlers or young children. On my (tall) six-year-old, they reach mid-calf at best. They have a nice toe seam that is very flat and hardly irritates the toes in the shoe. But they don't stay on your feet, and they're definitely not long enough to wear knee-deep.
