Lithium batteries can explode and cause damage if charged for too long. They failed to design a green light on the charger to indicate "charging complete". Instead, they rely on you to control the charging process and estimate a charge time of 8 to 9 hours. This can become dangerous if you are busy with other things and forget it. A design that turns off when charging is complete and an indicator light that changes color from red to green would be ideal. I recommend everyone to be careful and set an alarm to remind you. The one I bought has a red light that stays red after the candles are fully charged.
