Great device! on external hard drives
The brochure does not specify the format for recording TV programs via the digital converter box. I used FAT 32 or NTFS. Unfortunately I returned one as I thought it would not work with my Aluratek box. The format can easily be changed using a computer, and no internet is required either. With the device connected to your computer, browse to This or My computer, look down to format and select the one you want. It is listed as HDD (E:).
