I bought this gas cylinder (from Revain) over a year or two ago to replace a plastic gas cylinder that was constantly leaking from the safety nozzles that are now ubiquitous in plastic gas cylinders. maybe the market. Firstly, this tin is very well made. In all this time (and in my garage) the tin still looks the same as the day I bought it. It's worth noting that I keep it off the ground, and if it needs to stay on the ground for a while I leave it on the wing cover. This is done in order not to scratch the paint on the underside and thereby prevent possible rust problems. My favorite part of this glass is the dispensing mechanism. The very well-closing lid (spring-loaded) lifts up and releases the filling. The opening is large enough to accommodate a fuel pump, but still has enough room to see the level so you don't overfill. Then there's an easy-to-activate handle for dispensing fuel (why wear thick gloves at all, so if you're fueling the snowblower in freezing weather you might want to keep your gloves on). I love this feature. I put the canister back in place with no leaks or mess, then pull the handle to get the fuel flowing. When I want it to stop, I let go and the flow stops immediately. The only thing that could be an issue is the lack of a pressure release mechanism. I'm assuming the gas cap will pop open a little with enough pressure to make it easier. Since you shouldn't store gasoline with ethanol for long anyway, that's probably not a problem.
