Solid and heavy as a whole. I thought it would be very easy. Not very bright, but the light is decent and the remote control lets you adjust the brightness. There is a button on the battery compartment that also turns on the light control. The patterns are great. With flashing patterns, every other indicator (1, 3, 5, etc.) follows the pattern. Most of the time I use steady light (not blinking). On other models, the flashing ranges from slow to fast. Unfortunately, there is no way to control the speed of the oscillations. The balls are transparent with glitters, solid with an LED inside. The sphere is a little over half a centimeter in diameter.
