Very imaginative and full of examples!

I used this text for the Legal Elements course as part of Carlow University's Masters in Fraud and Forensic Science. Before starting this course, I was unfamiliar with many of the laws, protocols, and procedures that you need to know, regardless of the legal situation. This textbook carefully introduces the reader to the various aspects of the law and the history that has made it what it is today. In addition to providing a detailed explanation of applicable law, many state and federal cases are used to demonstrate the concept described. For example, when reading the chapter on rumours, many such examples were used to show how the smallest changes in a situation in a courtroom can make a difference. I would recommend this textbook to anyone who wants to gain a deeper understanding of law. Using detailed case studies and detailed examples really helps to fully understand the concept at hand.
