I bought an umbrella instead of an ez up for me as I go to the lake by myself and did not want the hassle of the ez up. Never had the opportunity to use the umbrella from the first opening. The plastic arms did not sit correctly into the plastic teeth at the top of the umbrella. When sliding the grey plastic handle to the top of the pole to open the umbrella, the sliding portion did not lock into place easily. I am a middle-aged woman that had difficulty just opening the umbrella because it would not lock into place. With a couple of hard shoves, I was able to get the umbrella to stay open, I got a breeze and one side collapsed within less than five minutes. I was excited to use and got hot and disappointment.
