Review on Sparkle & Shine: The Ultimate Precious Stone Cleaner by Christina Wilcox

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very good for home decoration

So over the years I've bought some nice rings for my wife and she doesn't clean them at all so I usually do that for her. There is a big difference between a clean stone and a dirty one, a big difference indeed. I took a before and after photo of the ring I cleaned for her and I'm not sure if the camera got it right but I can tell you they did a great job when they did cleaned the topaz and diamonds on it. Group. I wish it could have been a bit better as far as the picture goes. I think I had to use a macro lens to really get there. In any case, the stones looked much better after him. To be honest I usually just use an old toothbrush with some hand soap and I think that works well too. Having said that I love the applicator pen, I will admit I felt like I had to twist it really a lot to get the cleaner out and at first I thought it was empty for the amount I twisted and it didn't work. However, it's easy to use and gentler than using a toothbrush, so that's a nice plus. This can also be important as some of the stones on some rings and other jewelry can be small and if moved too roughly you could lose them and be pushed out of place. Something to avoid. With that in mind, a cleaning pen like this is a good idea and handy to have on hand.
