Simply the best way to light charcoal

Summary: There is no better way to light charcoal for your grilling needs. When it's done Pros: + Ease of use + Bulletproof + Price + Simplicity There was a time in my life when starting a barbecue fire required copious amounts of lighter fluid applied repeatedly over 15 minutes. Despite the warnings on the tin, I always applied it to a burning pile of coal because it was fun and I found it somehow useful. Those days are over. The charcoal fireplace works as follows: 1. Turn it upside down 2. Put a newspaper in the ground3. Fold upwards on the right 4. Fill 3/4 with charcoal (wood briquettes)5. Light the paper6. Open a beer, sit back and wait 15 minutes7. Throw away the hot coals and start grilling! This thing is approaching the gold standard for idiot protection, at least until they find a better idiot. It's so easy to use, and you no longer have to put up with having too much lighter fluid smell to you and your food. My only concern is that when pouring the hot coals, although the handle is heat resistant, it still gets a little hot from the blistering heat of the coals, and pouring the hot coals is always an adventure. If you're cooking up a charcoal grill, which you probably should because it's awesome, you definitely need to use a charcoal fireplace to get started. , fast, efficient and safe. I've had the same one for 4 years and there really isn't anything that can break, so I think one day I'll pass it on to my kids as a treasured family heirloom.
