We have something in the house for muslin washcloths. If you've never used them, you're really missing out. They are easy to wash and somehow don't absorb odors as easily as regular cotton washcloths, even after multiple washes. These are standard baby towels with a loop on one corner. They are gift wrapped and perfect for a basket or as part of a larger gift. My husband uses it in the shower and I use it at night to wash my face. I love that they absorb the cleaner better than any other washcloth I've tried and my husband loves them because they don't leave lint when his face is messy. They are easy to wash - warm water with regular soap. I put baking soda in the bottom of the washing machine with every load, use eco-friendly detergent, and don't use fabric softener. Then I hang them on a rope to dry. Like I said, no smell.
